Take an arts course at the world-renowned John C. Campbell Folk School. Shop at the seasonal Farmers Market and area boutiques and find so much more.

Vineyards

Relax with a glass of award-winning wine produced here in the valleys with views and tours of the vineyards and, often, live music on weekends. Crane Creek Vineyards in Young Harris and Hightower Creek Vineyards in Hiawassee are our neighbors. It’s a short drive to Hayesville, NC to Eagle Fork Vineyards and Grandaddy Mimm’s Distillery in Blairsville.

Wondrous Waterfalls

Seek the mist and wonderment by visiting nearby waterfalls. Anna Ruby Falls is down the way. DeSoto Falls and Helton Creek Falls are among several waterfalls within 40-minutes of the resort. Spend the day hiking or picnicking surrounded by nature’s beauty.

Brasstown Bald

Georgia’s highest mountain at 4,784-feet is only 20-minutes from Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa. On clear days, the spectacular 360-degree view from atop the mountain’s observatory gives you panoramic views of four states.

Whitewater Wow!

Take the plunge in the rapids in several rivers on guided whitewater excursions. Kayakers will also enjoy the flowing waters, with bird watching being a highlight. Resort staff can assist you in arranging transportation to whitewater adventure outfitters in the region.

Chattahoochee National Forest

Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa is located 15 minutes from the Chattahoochee National Forest. The forest is home to wild turkey, deer, and many other types of wildlife and flowering foliage.

Helen, Georgia

Roll into the quaint mountain town of Helen with a touch of Bavarian architecture. You can go river tubing, canoeing, mountain biking, hiking, and shopping in the more than 200 specialty shops. It’s a scenic mountain drive just 45-minutes from Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa.

“I have had the pleasure of staying at many golf resorts throughout the United States and Brasstown Valley Resort in my book is one of the best… I would rate as a 10.”
