Hike & Fish

Stretch your body and mind along 9 miles of wilderness trails accessed directly from the resort. Fishing equipment is provided for casting a line at the resort’s serene pond and stream.

Outdoor enthusiasts, get ready for inspiring views of Young Harris, Hiawassee, and the Brasstown wilderness with consistent elevation changes of 1,200 feet.

Miller Trek

Begin at Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa on this loop trail into the Chattahoochee National Forest and back. The 6.5-mile trail is blazed in blue/green and has a 2.5-mile loop for hikers who prefer a shorter hike. These blue/green blazed trails will bring you back to Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa any direction you travel.

Along the trail you’ll be in shaded hardwood forest with Tuliptree, Red Maple, White Oak, and Black Locust trees and seasonally flowering foliage. You may see White-Tailed Deer, Red and Gray Fox, Flying Squirrels and Black Bears.

Remember: Always stay on the trail for your protection and for the preservation of nature. Leave no trace. Come away with memories and photos!

Go Fishing

A serene pond and stream onsite invites beginners and pros to cast a line. Complimentary equipment is available in the Emporium by the pool on the lower level. Fishing licenses are required for ages 16 and older, and can be purchased online. Complimentary computer use is available at our business center. Guided fishing is available for groups or individuals – booked in advance.
